It's Falling Apart On You, Isn't it (Part 3: "OMFG, Was that My Axle?!" Edition)

So, I've talked about the Toyota recalls.

But it's time for a little more about it, in light of recent events.

See, for all the posturing, it wasn't just Toyota. In the last two weeks, GM, Nissan, and Honda have all had to do massive recalls, as well.

Considering all the bits recalled in the first wave of Toyota recalls were made by subsidiaries of the Dana Holding Corporation, I'm left wondering how many of the parts in these recalls were, as well?

Perhaps someone should consider a safety and quality audit for Dana Corporation and its subsidiaries. Especially considering we're now talking about Nissan recalling 500,000+ vehicles, Honda recalling 400,000+ vehicles, and GM recalling 1.3 MILLION vehicles, on top of the already massive Toyota recalls.

I mean, guys, we're talking about nearly as many vehicles recalled in the last month and a half as were sold on the planet in total for all of last year; does anyone else think this may be cause for concern?

...Does anyone else wonder, just maybe, how many of the cars made by other manufacturers ALSO have these same faulty parts, that we just don't yet know about?
